This is really beautiful! I know of various super glue + cotton, baking soda, drier lint, fiberglass insulation etc., but am surprised this would be strong enough on the rocks. Are they a volcanic pumice type? I have some large pumice pieces here. One, about the size of a basketball doesn't weigh more than a few pounds.

One question: What do you do when the whole setup starts forming algea and it inevitably clogs up the whole setup?
